- I'm 42 years old and married. My husband and I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina with a spoiled rotten 15 year old dog named Samson. I am an avid reader and just started selling books online to supplement my disability income. I am a cancer survivor and have Hairy Cell Leukemia. Ask me about it. It's rare but we like to educate about it.

Just wanted to introduce myself on here. I'm 42 years old, married and living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. I've just started bookselling. I'm trying to make friends in the business and learn from the experienced. I'm hoping that this and other forums will keep me from making huge mistakes.
I'm in my 2nd month on Amazon. Made 38 bucks the first month. LOL I've done a lot better in April though. I'm growing slowly but that is the way I want it, so I do not make any huge money losing mistakes. Amazon is very weird. I was cruising right along in April and was up to selling 3 or 4 books a day when the bottom dropped out of it last week. Actually went 2 days without selling a book at all and having only sold 2 so far over the weekend. Reading the forum on Amazon it seems that I am not the only one, but it is definitely frustrating.
