I have been involved (or interested) in bookselling online, since:
June 21, 2001
Type of Books Sold:
Mainly SF, Crime, modern first editions. But I'm happy to try to place anything that I can.
Favorite Seller venue and ID:
I sell on eBay as 'sigmapsidelta' and on Amazon as 'interstellartravelagency', and my favorite is the one that sells most.
Other Venues:
UK Bookworld.
A Little About Me:
I have been a part-time bookseller since the early 1990s when I issued a mail-order catalogue called 'Frozenstar'. I had a small bookshop for six months in a town that turned out to have 99% illiteracy. Then along came the internet and changed everything.
I live on the south west coast of England, about 30 feet from the Atlantic at high tide - sometimes closer, depending on the weather.
Robert Heinlein novels.
Larry Niven and collaborations.
The 'Marcus Didius Falco' novels of Lindsey Davis.
Alastair Reynolds SF novels.
Peter F. Hamilton SF novels.
Iain M. Banks SF novels.
I also like the easy-reading fantasy novels of David Eddings.
Greetings from "across the pond". Yes, Newport News shipyard is indeed the supposed site of the Philadelphia Experiment. I'm a transplanted New Yorker, living here in the South is still new to me. I miss the city, but not the high cost of living.
Many thanks for all the great advice and pointers.
I am an avid SF reader. Will check into your suggestions.
Best Regards,
Patricia
